Award Ceremony
On 12 September in Hanoi, Nguyen Thi Nga, chairwoman of the private multi‑industry conglomerate BRG, was awarded the prestigious title “Hero of Labor in the Renovation Era.” The honor, conferred by General Secretary and President To Lam and presented by National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man, recognises her outstanding achievements in labour, innovation and national development.
First‑Class Labor Medal
At the same ceremony, BRG and its partner SeABank received the First‑Class Labor Medal, underscoring their strategic impact on Vietnam’s economy, fiscal contributions and community responsibilities.
Security Commendations
The Ministry of Public Security also presented commendation certificates to Nguyen Thi Nga, BRG and SeABank for exemplary performance in the “Nationwide Campaign to Safeguard National Security.”

Tran Thanh Man praised Nguyen Thi Nga’s strategic vision, resilience and entrepreneurial spirit, noting how she and her team built a high‑competitiveness economic‑service and financial ecosystem. He urged her to continue acting as a bridge between the business sector and state agencies, to mentor the next generation of ethical leaders, and to deepen policy‑making involvement.
Business Journey
Nguyen Thi Nga’s business journey began in 1993 with an export firm that later evolved into BRG Group, now employing more than 22,000 staff and contributing significantly to the state budget.

The group has forged partnerships with global brands such as Hilton, Marriott International, IHG, Accor and Sumitomo Corporation, importing international management practices, technology and training for Vietnamese talent.
