Samsung started the official deployment of One UI 9, the latest Android 17‑based skin, to its Galaxy S26 line in South Korea. The update follows a beta programme that began in May and saw seven test builds released to Korean users. The stable package, identified by build numbers S948NKSU4BZI6, S948NOKR4BZI6 and S948NKSU4BZHO for different S26 variants, is roughly 650 MB and bundles September security patches.
New Features in One UI 9
One UI 9 introduces several Galaxy AI features previously limited to the Galaxy Z Fold8 series, such as My FanCam, Call Brief and customizable cards in the Now Brief feed, alongside broader performance, privacy and customization enhancements. Users can trigger the update via Settings → Software update → Check for updates.
Upcoming Devices for One UI 9
Alongside the S26 rollout, Samsung published a priority list for the next wave of devices slated to receive One UI 9. The list includes the entire recent Galaxy S family—S26, S26 Ultra, S25 Plus, S25 Ultra, S25 FE, S24 series, S23 series and their respective Plus and FE variants—as well as the Galaxy Z lineup (Fold8 Ultra, Fold8, Flip8, Fold7, Flip7, Fold6, Flip6, Fold5, Flip5) and a range of Galaxy Tab models (Tab S11 Ultra, Tab S11, Tab S10 Ultra, Tab S10 Plus, Tab S9 Ultra, Tab S9 Plus, Tab S9).
Rollout Schedule and Updates
Samsung said the rollout will proceed in stages, with timing varying by region, carrier and device model. As the expansion continues, additional eligible Galaxy devices will be added to the update schedule. The company advises users to regularly check the software‑update menu to ensure they receive the latest version when it becomes available in their market.
