BIDV announced a new financing package aimed at individual entrepreneurs who have operated a production or service business for at least 12 months. The working‑capital loan carries an attractive interest rate of 6.8% per annum and a credit limit of up to VND10 billion. In addition to supporting day‑to‑day cash flow, the facility can be used to refinance eligible early‑repayment obligations with other credit institutions, helping borrowers reduce overall financing costs.
Complementing the standard loan, BIDV is also rolling out a VND10 000 trillion green credit program. The scheme targets businesses that adopt environmentally friendly practices, such as organic agriculture, safe food‑supply chains, and production of certified eco‑friendly products. Eligible certifications include VietGAP, GlobalGAP, OCOP, ISO 22000, HACCP, ISO 14001 and the Vietnam eco‑label. The green line also extends to renewable‑energy projects—rooftop solar, wind farms—and to the purchase of electric vehicles or housing built to green standards.
Bank officials emphasized that timely capital is crucial for seizing market opportunities, whether from new orders, seasonal peaks or favorable market conditions. While financing is a key enabler, they noted that success also depends on experience, labor, and the willingness to innovate.
Prospective borrowers are invited to contact the nearest BIDV branch or call the 24/7 customer‑care hotline at 1900 9247 for further information and application assistance.
